About the role
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our SDR team at Pleo. in this role, you'll accelerate our sales pipeline and be part of a high-growth team as we scale our expense management solution. What you'll be doing
As a Sales Development Representative, you will:
- Building pipeline through cold calling, social, and email outreach to senior finance leaders
- Qualifying potential deals by throughly understanding customer needs before passing them to Account Executives
- Using best in class tools for creative and effective prospecting strategies
- Enabling others and sharing best practices to foster team learning and collective success
- Proactively taking initiative to drive results and constantly seek new ways to go the extra mile
What you bring
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous professional experience of at least 1 year. Preferably sales, finance, consulting or customer facing roles
- A driven and ambitious mindset with a clear focus on growing quickly in sales
- Comfortable cold calling and consistently getting out of your comfort zone to connect with senior leaders
- Strong collaboration skills and a desire to help your colleagues succeed as a team player
- An entrepreneurial and creative mindset, ready to learn and grow every day
- Complete fluency in English (our company language) and Spanish (required for the role)
Who you'll be working with and reporting to
You'll be reporting to the SDR Manager for the Spanish team and work closely with Account Executives and the wider commercial team Our team is highly collaborative and dedicated to driving new business growth and challenging the status quo of expense management. You'll also have the chance to partner with the Marketing team to ensure successful lead generation and seamless handoffs.
How you'll develop in this role
In your first 6 months at Pleo, you'll:
- Lead targeted prospecting initiatives to drive impact in the Spanish market
- Collaborate with Account Executives to improve qualification processes and lead handoffs
- Grow your skills in creative prospecting and objection handling, taking on new challenges as the company continues to scale.
