Commercial Talent Partner Lead

We’re proud to have hired fantastic people to date at scale, and we’d like to continue, but we need your help! We are looking for some who hears “Let’s set up a new Sales Hub” and doesn’t run for the hills.

Your Mission:

As a Commercial Talent Partner Lead at Pleo, you will be instrumental in scaling our commercial teams globally (circa 400 employees). You’ll drive our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent who are not only skilled but also a perfect fit for our Pleo culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our team of Commercial Talent Partners. This means; 1:1’s, coaching & development, sharing best practices and acting as a Senior member of the Talent team.  
  • Take on end-to-end recruitment for various different commercial roles and markets. (Recruitment will be 60-70% of this role)
  • Collaborate with our Commercial Leaders & teams on many fronts; from hiring, to process improvement projects, to anticipating headcounts and movements, and probably much more!
  • Use our tools to ensure data drives your decision-making and conversations with Stakeholders and the wider people & talent team. 
  • Act as a driving force behind our Inclusive Hiring Strategy. You are someone who really cares for, and values the importance of diversity and inclusion in Pleo. 

Who You Are:

  • You are an experienced, hands-on Commercial/GTM recruiter. You can speak to a track record of delivering at a high volume, across multiple markets and functions. Versatility is your middle name. 
  • A nice mixture of both agency and in-house recruitment experience is preferred.
  • As a People Manager, you have experienced the highs and lows of recruitment, and can confidently guide and develop your team through it all.
  • You are comfortable working to and communicating hiring targets and using data to inform team capacity needs.
  • You can use your experience to establish and influence hiring strategies internationally and measure their success, pivoting quickly when needed. 
  • You have strong communication skills; for example, you aren’t afraid to speak up, present and push back in a meeting with our CRO and Sales Leaders
  • You have experience in working at a similar sized organisation to Pleo, and can showcase an ability to connect the dots between teams, anticipate challenges and solve them seamlessly.
  • Desirable would be experience in managing large-scale hiring improvement projects, end-to-end.
  • Exposure to working with Early Careers Talent attraction strategies is desirable, or experience with an organisation which has a similar ‘Sales Hub’ talent model.
